Bottega by San Carlo is now open at Selfridges Manchester, revealing a newly reimagined restaurant in the heart of Exchange Square.
Following a complete refurbishment, Bottega returns with a refreshed interior, new seasonal dishes and a new cocktail collection, bringing together Italian food, design and creativity in a distinctive new setting.
For more than a decade, Bottega has been part of the Selfridges Manchester experience. Now, its next chapter has arrived.

The new Bottega has been designed around craftsmanship, colour and character.
Contemporary artwork runs throughout the refreshed restaurant, with expressive portraiture and colourful works adding personality to the space. Featured artists include Vincent Spain, Connie Celeste, Oliver Gaiger, Constance Anne, IAMBOB.the.ARTIST, Daisy Fulton and Suzanne Bethel.
The result is a brighter, more expressive setting that feels rooted in creativity while retaining Bottega’s distinctive Italian identity.
It is a fresh expression of Bottega for Manchester, bringing food, art and design together within one of the city’s best-known shopping destinations.
The reopening also introduces a new Autumn/Winter menu, bringing seasonal ingredients and richer flavours to the table.
Highlights include Carpaccio di Vitello, with slow-cooked veal, celeriac cream, wild mushrooms, Grana Padano and fresh black truffle, alongside Insalata di Zucca, combining roasted pumpkin, chestnut mushrooms, ricotta salata, toasted hazelnuts and black truffle.

For something with a little more theatre, Risotto Zucca e Tartufo is finished tableside in a pecorino wheel and topped with fresh black truffle. The collection also includes slow-braised Beef Cheek, pumpkin-filled Cartellata Zucca e Tartufo and Vitello Valdostana with Fontina cheese and ham.

The new Bottega experience continues at the bar with a cocktail collection inspired by La Dolce Vita and the legendary hotels, bars and personalities of 20th-century Europe.
The collection travels through Venice, Milan and Rome, with each serve drawing on a different story.
Discover the Hemingway Martini, inspired by Venice’s Gritti Palace, Bellini 1948, celebrating the creation of the iconic Bellini at Harry’s Bar, and Campari Seltz, rooted in Milanese aperitivo culture.
The Negroni Sbagliato takes inspiration from the famous Bar Basso serve, while The Audrey channels the elegance of Rome’s golden age.
Bottega first opened at Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square in 2013, beginning a relationship that has now lasted more than a decade.
The reopening builds on that history while introducing a fresh expression of the restaurant for Manchester today.

Located in the heart of the city centre, Bottega offers a distinctive destination for lunch, dinner, cocktails and celebrations during a day at Selfridges or an evening in Manchester.
