As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, we invite you into the warmth of the San Carlo family table.
Autumn has always been a cherished season for us – a time when kitchens come alive with slow-simmering sauces, hand-rolled pastas, and dishes passed down through generations. This year, we’re proud to share a new collection of seasonal recipes, each one handpicked as a family favourite, crafted to capture the comfort and richness of Italian autumn dining.
Available from October 2nd, at San Carlo guests can enjoy a comforting new collection of dishes inspired by the season.
Among the highlights are Pipette Piccanti, a short pasta dish in a fiery tomato and cream sauce, with a touch of vodka, and Trofie Salsiccia e Faglioli, another family favourite where fresh Italian sausage and borlotti beans come together in a rich tomato and pecorino base.

For lovers of handmade pasta, Cartellate Zucca e Tartufo is a true celebration of the season, where the sweetness of pumpkin meets the earthiness of sage, butter, and truffle

Across our Cicchetti & Fumo locations, the new season arrives on October 7th with a series of medium-sized plates designed to be shared.
Gather your loved ones around the table to enjoy Tortellini Salsiccia, filled with veal and sausage, enriched with cream and truffle. Or try Paccheri Pork Ribs Ragu, where slow-cooked pork ribs fall from the bone into a rich tomato sauce – the kind of dish that fills both stomach and soul. The indulgent Risotto Porcini e Tartufo, finished inside a pecorino wheel and lifted with wild porcini mushrooms, is one of our family’s most treasured autumn traditions.

The menu also introduces new meat dishes such as Costine di Maiale Orientale, tender barbeque pork ribs in our special San Carlo sauce, and Pollo Marsala, chicken breast cooked with porcini mushrooms and marsala wine.
Also new to the menu, we’ve added a Heritage Tomato Salad, with marinated tomatoes, goat’s cheese, black olives and basil, alongside a Tuscan classic, Cacciucco – a traditional shellfish stew crowned with golden pizza dough, the kind of rustic dish that instantly brings everyone together.

This autumn we invite you to share in the flavours of our family kitchen. Each recipe is crafted with love, rooted in tradition, and designed to bring warmth, comfort, and indulgence to your table.
