A Special Spring Breakfast Pop Up at Cicchetti Manchester
Earlier this year, Cicchetti Manchester introduced a limited breakfast pop up on King Street West, bringing an Italian inspired morning dining experience to Manchester city centre.
Served daily from 9am to 12pm, the breakfast pop up combined relaxed Italian hospitality with freshly prepared breakfast dishes, pastries, coffee and brunch favourites, offering guests a new way to experience Cicchetti throughout the morning.
A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
Prepared with the same care and attention as Cicchetti’s lunch and dinner menus, the breakfast offering featured elevated breakfast classics alongside indulgent Italian inspired favourites.
One of the standout dishes was the Giant Croissant, an oversized filled croissant available in both sweet and savoury versions including pistachio cream and Parma ham, mozzarella and rocket.
Guests could also enjoy freshly prepared crêpes, Italian pastries and breakfast favourites including Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royal, Eggs Avocado and a refined Full English Breakfast.
The Star of the Show: The Giant Croissant
One of the most talked-about additions to the menu is the Giant Croissant, at more than a foot long, it’s an oversized, delicious, filled statement pastry that’s set to become a firm favourite.
Freshly baked and generously filled, it’s available in both sweet and savoury versions:
- Pistachio cream
- Parma ham, mozzarella and rocket
Perfect for sharing, though you may not want to, it’s a breakfast worth arriving hungry for.

Classic breakfast favourites were elevated with Cicchetti’s signature Italian touch throughout the breakfast pop up, combining indulgence with the simplicity and quality of Italian cooking.
Highlights from the menu included:
- A refined Full English Breakfast, with a vegan option
- Eggs Benedict, or Eggs Royal – perfectly balanced and indulgent
- Eggs Avocado on sourdough, simple, fresh and satisfying
- For something more indulgent, eggs with crab and caviar on sourdough toast offer a decadent start to the day
Alongside savoury dishes, guests could also enjoy freshly prepared crêpes, pastries and sweet breakfast favourites inspired by classic Italian flavours.
Deli Counter: Breakfast, Your Way
Launching alongside the sit-down menu is a brand-new deli counter, offering a selection of hot and cold options for those on the move.
The deli counter includes:
- Fresh pastries, including giant and traditional croissants
- Hot and cold filled gourmet focaccia, available to grab and go, with options such as Chicken Milanese with fries and spicy mayo, Porchetta with fries and mustard mayo, Stracciatella with Mortadella with pesto and Parmigiana di Melanzane
