Introducing Our Moulin Rouge Travelling Cocktail: ‘The Satine’

We are delighted to unveil ‘The Satine,’ a show-stopping new cocktail inspired by Moulin Rouge! The Musical, as the acclaimed production embarks on its highly anticipated UK tour. Capturing the elegance and drama of the iconic story, this limited-edition serve will be available at select San Carlo restaurants, launching in line with the musical’s arrival in each city across London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

As the production embarks on its UK tour, guests at San Carlo will have the opportunity to experience the magic of the Moulin Rouge beyond the theatre, with an expertly crafted cocktail that embodies the spirit of the show. Whether you are indulging in a glamorous pre-theatre dinner, raising a glass to an unforgettable night out, or simply seeking a touch of decadence, this limited-edition cocktail brings the romance and spectacle of Moulin Rouge! The Musical to life.

Crafted to reflect the opulence of the Moulin Rouge, ‘The Satine’ combines Select Venezia, Evangelista Ratafià, Coco Real Coconut, Funkin Lime, and Peychaud’s Bitters, shaken and double-strained into a mini highball glass. The cocktail is finished with a striking garnish – our signature ice cream biscuit, layered with Negroni Gel and a delicate mint leaf.

‘The Satine’ will debut at Fumo London and Cicchetti Covent Garden from May 1st to June 21st before travelling to San Carlo Bristol from June 26th to August 9th. The cocktail will then arrive in Manchester, available at Fumo Manchester and San Carlo Manchester from August 20th to October 4th, before its final stop in Birmingham at Fumo Waterloo and San Carlo Birmingham from October 15th to November 15th.
