Capital Deal for San Carlo
Leading Midland Italian restaurant group San Carlo has acquired London’s legendary Signor Sassi restaurant in Knightsbridge Green.
Haunt of the City’s money managers and Knightsbridge residents, Signor Sassi joins San Carlo’s award winning venues in Temple Street, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Leicester and will retain its long established and well-respected name.
San Carlo proprietor, Carlo Distefano who opened the popular Birmingham eatery in 1982 said: “I have dined at Signor Sassi for more than 15 years and always been impressed by its unique atmosphere, superb food and service.
“It is one of London’s most well-known restaurants and will fit perfectly within our group.”
San Carlo Group has welcomed a new addition to the team Francesco Delussu, a former head chef with Cecconi restaurant in Mayfair. The Group is seeking further investment opportunities in Mayfair and St James.
