This month saw the launch of San Carlo Cicchetti’s new Spring/Summer menu. Packed full of the freshest, finest seasonal ingredients direct from Italy and expertly crafted by our star chefs; new dishes feature across the entire menu – from soup to crostini to salads, pasta, fish, meat, bread and desserts. Colourful and light, seasonal delights include pea and prosciutto soup, carpaccio of salmon with pink peppercorns, spaghettini with prawns, Italian wild asparagus, garlic and chilli and crab salad with Sicilian orange.
We invited the region’s toughest food critics and lifestyle press to sample the new dishes and are delighted to say they loved it. Here’s what The Natter’s Debbie Manley said: “Relax, take your time, enjoy the atmosphere of a cicchetti bar in Venice. By the end of this meal, one of the best we’d ever tasted, we were seriously thinking of marrying the chef!”
